It was a lucky day that I met Brian Pelletier, the chocolatier.  (Yes, that’s his name – Pelletier the Chocolatier!  Talk about jobs you were born to do!)  Who doesn’t want to be friends with a chocolatier?!  It has been awesome to watch his chocolate business, Kakao Chocolate, grow and become a real St. Louis fan favorite.  I was privileged that he asked me to take some photos of a recent chocolate tasting party he was having in one of his shops.  It was the third in a series of Peculiar Pairings; combinations that you may not think of when you think of chocolate.  This was a Farmer’s Market inspired pairing and each of the confections had a fruit or vegetable involved in their creation.  Luckily the photographer got to taste everything also!
